Miner Multi-Skilled

Transport Material: Drives truck and/or operates heavy equipment to transport and unload materials. Receives loading instructions and communicates with plant personnel and the public. Fixed Equipment Maintenance: Maintains stationary production machinery by diagnosing problems and performing mechanical and minor electrical repairs. Uses mobile equipment, hand and power tools, and cutting and welding equipment. General Plant Support: Maintains a material handling conveyor system by controlling product quality and inspecting the system for damage. Cleans spilled material from the conveyor system and surrounding areas. Travel to other facilities maybe required. Essential Functions • Vehicle Maintenance  • Perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle safety inspection; document and report vehicle condition at beginning and end of each shift  • Check all vehicle fluid levels daily and add fluids if necessary  • Clean outside of vehicle to ensure absence of material build-up throughout each shift  • May assist mechanics in vehicle repair and change tires as necessary.
