Summary The Duty Desk is responsible for payroll processing, record keeping, financial tracking and scheduling system management for the stations that their team supports.

Maintain integrity of the payroll system, process individual employee timecards and accurate payroll. Process data for financial tracking and forecasting. Notification to leadership of employee attendance occurrences. Reconcile approved timecard exceptions. Maintain qualifications for their workgroup, either Passenger Service or Ground Service if required by location. Provide support to the station as operationally needed. Perform other duties as assigned.  Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills Required  A minimum of 6 months of customer service or airline operations experience. Strong diplomacy, problem solving, and teamwork skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia. Ability to work with and maintain confidential information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.  Depending on work location, ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification. Ability to communicate in English. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum age of 18. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.  Preferred  A minimum of 1 year of customer service or community service experience.
