Grow with us
We are seeking a curious, creative, business-minded lawyer to join the Group Function Legal Affairs team at Ericsson, supporting the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (EEWS) business. You will play a key role in EEWS's commercial growth across EMEA and APAC, providing legal support to sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams. The role requires legal expertise in technology transactions across a variety of industries and markets, and we will value your experience with data privacy and AI law, as well as your knowledge of global SaaS, hardware, and software industry trends.   You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the globe, supporting a wide variety of legal matters including commercial and technology transactions, commercial disputes, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives. You will also contribute to global initiatives, process improvements, and playbooks to help EEWS scale for growth. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited to both support and challenge the business across diverse legal domains.   Join our Team
What You Will Do Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology agreements, including SaaS, software licence, hardware, strategic alliance, OEM, reseller, distributor, managed service provider, non-disclosure, and marketing agreements.  Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance on commercial contracting, data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and regulatory compliance matters across EMEA and APAC.  Develop, maintain, and improve legal playbooks, contract templates, and contracting processes to increase efficiency and support a growing organisation.  Educate and train internal teams on legal, compliance, and contracting best practices to support informed and efficient decision-making.  Contribute to strategic initiatives that advance EEWS's global growth strategy, business objectives, and innovation agenda.  Collaborate with legal colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders globally to align legal strategies with business priorities and key initiatives.  Anticipate changes to, and advise on, relevant laws and regulations impacting EEWS's commercial activities.  Build strong internal and external relationships while balancing the needs of EEWS's business strategy, commercial objectives, and legal risk.  Perform other legal responsibilities as requested from time to time.    Your Qualifications
You are a qualified lawyer, admitted or licensed to practise law in a recognized jurisdiction, with the ability to serve as in-house counsel advising on commercial transactions across multiple regions.  You have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience as a fully licensed, practising lawyer (excluding training contracts, articles, pupillage, clerkships, or any other pre- or post-admission training period), with at least 2 years working in-house at a technology company, and substantial experience supporting SaaS, hardware, and/or enterprise software transactions.  Solid understanding of commercial contract law and experience negotiating commercial and technology transactions.    Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and tackle unfamiliar legal issues.  Excellent communication skills, business acumen, and organizational skills.   A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.  Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to both support and constructively challenge the business, and a desire to grow across legal disciplines.  A proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to problem-solving, a bias toward action, and a good sense of humour.

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting a publicly traded company and/or a global, multinational organisation.  Familiarity with privacy laws and/or experience doing business with government customers is a bonus.    Experience with export controls, trade compliance, or sanctions regimes
