Job Description
Join a team that plays a critical role in supporting daily cash funding, money movement, and reconciliation activities across a fast-paced financial services environment. As a Funding & Cash Management Operations Specialist, you'll help ensure funds are accurately managed, processed, and reconciled while partnering with teams across Operations, Finance, Capital Markets, and Middle Office to support key business activities. What You'll Do
Manage daily cash funding requirements and monitor cash positions. Support wire processing and money movement activities. Perform cash balancing and reconciliation activities to validate prior-day transactions. Monitor funding needs and assist with cash projections. Prepare reports related to funding, cash management, and reconciliation activities. Partner with internal teams to support operational funding needs and resolve issues. Manage multiple priorities in a real-time operational environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Support shared inbox activities and respond to internal partner inquiries. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience - Typically two or more years of related experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. - Experience in financial operations, treasury, banking operations, or reconciliation functions. - Familiarity with cash management and funding processes. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to prioritize and adapt as business needs change. - Experience with cash management, cash balancing, wire processing, money movement, or financial operations. - Understanding of financial, accounting, business, economics, or related concepts. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with internal partners. - Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
