You will provide compassionate, hands-on support that addresses the physical, social, and behavioral needs of each patient. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (or eligible to receive or renew). Current CPR or BLS certification. Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+. Responsible for the overall functioning of the patient care unit Assigns appropriate numbers and mix of staff as guided by the staffing plan based on census and patient acuity. Responsible for directing and supervising staff in all clinical and administrative matters, ensuring that accreditation standards, practice standards, and policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
