JOB DESCRIPTION JOB INFORMATION Job Title: MAP Installation Specialist Type of Contract: Local Hire Location: Tianjin, China Company : ATDC Department:   Functional Org Unit Siglum: ACO1MI CONTEXT OF THE POSITION… Who are we? The MAP (French “Mise Au Point”) Engineering acts with the delegation of the Airbus Design Organization and as an extension of Chief Engineering to rapidly provide solutions and engineering decisions to aircraft technical issues encountered from FAL start up to delivery in terms of topics that require engineering expertise, in order to guarantee A/C delivery on time and on quality in accordance with the A320 Family/A330 and A350 programme objectives. In the meantime, we contribute to the aircraft safety, product maturity and reduction of recurring costs. The jobholder represents Engineering and Chief Engineering in A320 family Final Assembly Line and Wide Body (A330&A350) Completion in the Delivery Centre in Tianjin. The jobholder is in charge of all ATA chapters (ATA29,ATA28,ATA27,ATA26,ATA30,ATA32, ATA34,ATA47,ATA49, ATA21, ATA36, ATA35, ATA38, etc) for Mechanical System Installation (MSI), ATA 25 Cabin/Cargo installation, and ATA 92 for Electrical/ Equipment Installation (ESI). The jobholder supports final assembly, testing and delivery from FAL starts up to aircraft ferry flight to airline customers. ACCOUNTABILITY Analyze Non-Conformities discovered during aircraft assembly, testing and delivery phases. Provide troubleshooting instructions to support root cause identification and resolution. Provide assessment of Non-Conformities, including acceptability of deviations, proposed rework or repair solutions and final acceptability of the rework in accordance with the relevant processes. Make the direct contribution to the on-time and on-quality Top Company delivery target. Provide long term solutions to recurrent Non-Conformities through the proposition of design or manufacturing improvements, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products. Provide aircraft safety assessments and ensure the aircraft safety based on the MAP disposition and endorsement. Create temporary aircraft definitions (Special Instructions) in order to support operational tests. Support operations for any disruption in the manufacturing process. Establish a network across the Design Office, Technical Authorities and Engineering Support communities for the A320 family, A330 and A350 in China, Europe and the USA. Support delivery by providing technical justifications to customers.   This role requires some business travel in Europe.  The position operates under flexible working hours and involves standby duties and overtime during evenings and weekends.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree with a major in Industrial Design, Mechanics, Structure, Electricity, Aerodynamics, Physics or Automatism and Control. EXPERIENCE : At least five years experience in Aviation industry, Mechanical System, Electrical or Equipment Installation or cabin upgrading. CERTIFICATION: Hold CoC delegations for multiple ATA chapters and demonstrate broad process and technical expertise . CAAC/EASA/FAA maintenance license is a plus. LANGUAGE: Fluent in English, both in written and spoken, at negotiation level. KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS:  Possess strong technical knowledge in aircraft design or maintenance with a comprehensive understanding of relevant Airbus processes. Technical background enabling effective comprehension of engineering documents and application of logical reasoning to solve problems.
