What you'll be involved in Lead the day-to-day manufacturing operation at Teledyne Microwave UK, ensuring the safe, efficient and on-time delivery of high-performance RF and microwave products. The role requires strong leadership capability together with experience of driving production output, delivery performance, production planning execution and workforce development within a manufacturing environment. The role is accountable for manufacturing performance, production planning execution and delivery of customer commitments.

Lead production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives. Drive production output, operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure production schedules are executed and customer commitments met. Lead recovery actions for missed deliveries, production constraints and capacity challenges. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Projects and Facilities teams to resolve production issues and improve operational performance. Support the introduction of new products into manufacture. Develop team capability through effective coaching, training and performance management. Drive cross-training and skills development to reduce single points of failure and improve manufacturing flexibility. Maintain compliance with company procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements. Essential Requirements Proven experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or similar leadership role. Experience within electronics, aerospace, defence or other high-reliability manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes and delivery execution. Demonstrated experience of leading teams and delivering operational improvements. Experience of developing manufacturing teams and improving workforce capability. Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills. Desirable Knowledge of RF, microwave or electronics manufacturing processes. Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering, Electronics or Manufacturing. Experience of New Product Introduction (NPI). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques. Experience within a regulated or defence environment. This role is best suited to an individual with strong production leadership experience, a focus on delivery execution, production planning and team development, together with the ability to drive manufacturing performance within a highly specialised environment.
