We are seeking motivated and driven interns to join our dynamic Financial Operations department for an exciting internship experience. Individuals selected for the internship will get the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and collaborate across multiple teams in Financial Operations while gaining impactful hands-on learning opportunities at a Fortune 50 company! While developing your professional talents by completing challenging work assignments during the internship, you will be generating and influencing business results. You'll have the opportunity to participate in events learning about the insurance business, State Farm, various business functions, and more as you develop throughout the summer. During the internship, you will work on a wide range of projects across multiple teams, gaining exposure to different areas of our Financial Operations team. You may have the opportunity to: • Utilize business intelligence, data systems, financial/statistical resources and analytical software to deliver data- driven solutions that leverage visualization, statistics or other mathematical approaches for data analysis • Build and/or modify existing data applications to meet project requirements including designing, coding, testing and implementing • Contribute to modernization efforts to help ensure data is available to support future analytic capabilities • Compile, prepare and translate complex data into user-friendly reports with actionable insights • Partner with associates and other data/analytics areas to implement and execute research and reporting activities that will inform decision making Intern work topics in Data Analytics may include: • Enhanced and discovery analytics • Statistical modeling and forecasting • Performance and operational trend analytics • Creating visualizations using Power BI and other platforms • Modernization of analytical tools and capabilities • Exploratory data analysis and tool creation • Data management enhancements and automation Summer Internship Dates: 6/2/2027 -8/11/2027 Hours : Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule. Pay: $28.00/hr. In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend! Work Arrangement : Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and 2-3 days a week working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment. Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
