Program Summary KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract ( LOGCAP ). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.

Job Summary

As a Human Resource Associate - Travel , you will support employee travel and mobility activities by coordinating travel arrangements, maintaining travel records, and ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements. Working under direct supervision, this entry-level position serves as a liaison between employees, leadership, and travel vendors to facilitate travel planning and execution. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate travel records, tracking travel actions, preparing routine reports, and providing administrative support throughout the travel process. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and effective communication skills. Roles and Responsibilities Coordinate employee travel arrangements in accordance with company policies, customer requirements, and established procedures. Work directly with employees, leadership, and approved travel vendors to facilitate travel requests, reservations, itinerary changes, and travel-related inquiries. Enter, update, and maintain accurate travel data, records, logs, and tracking systems. Review travel documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements. Track travel requests and pending actions to ensure timely processing and completion. Maintain organized travel files and supporting documentation in accordance with record retention requirements. Prepare and distribute travel itineraries, confirmations, and travel-related communications. Compile travel metrics and prepare routine reports for leadership review. Monitor and track travel activities to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements. Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding travel policies, procedures, and travel-related requirements. Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to resolve travel-related issues. Escalate complex travel matters to management as appropriate. Ensure adherence to organizational policies, contractual requirements, and health, safety, and environmental procedures. Perform additional travel administration and support duties as assigned by leadership.

Basic Qualifications

(Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications) Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. Prior KBR travel experience required. Experience coordinating employee travel arrangements and working with travel vendors. Experience entering, tracking, and maintaining travel-related records and databases. Experience preparing reports and maintaining accurate documentation. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Lists, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures with a high degree of accuracy. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to successfully work with employees, leadership, and external service providers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

(Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications) Experience supporting travel operations under U.S. Government contracts, including LOGCAP programs, is highly desirable. SHRM PHR, or equivalent professional
