Job Overview
Develop and implement quality plan, budget, policies and systems; and supervise quality assurance activities with the objective of ensuring TE's product quality meet customers and external agencies' standards within corporate headquarter quality systems, policies and procedures; and relevant local regulations. Job Requirements
Lead and manage the Quality Control department, including workforce planning, talent development, performance management, coaching, and succession planning. Drive compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, and cost effectiveness.Lead initiatives to reduce defects (DPPM), customer complaints, product returns, and overall quality costs. Develop, review, and implement quality policies, procedures, and process improvements to align with corporate standards and business objectives.Prepare and manage departmental budgets and annual work plans, monitor expenditures, and provide recommendations for effective cost control. Oversee quality control activities, including deviation approvals, 4M change management, internal audits, supplier quality management, and performance monitoring.Review and approve quality documentation, inspection plans, work instructions, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts to resolve quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and prevent recurrence of defects. Drive supplier quality improvement programs, manage critical supplier issues, and analyze manufacturing and supply chain quality performance.Promote continuous improvement through audits, Six Sigma initiatives, quality improvement projects, and data-driven decision-making. Monitor and report key quality and operational performance metrics, providing accurate analysis and recommendations to management and stakeholders.Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize processes, enhance quality performance, and achieve organizational goals.
