Tax Intern – Summer 2027 Location: Indianapolis, IN This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless accommodation is granted as required by law.     The Tax Intern is responsible for supporting our Tax department by assisting with federal and state income tax compliance, tax accounting, examination/audit defense, and special projects. During this summer internship, the intern will be exposed to and gain experience with federal and state income tax, sales/use tax, property tax, and state premium (insurance) tax. This internship program is a 12-week, full-time program running from May 17th, 2027 – August 6th, 2027. How you will make an impact:   Performing in-depth data analysis and tax modeling and assisting with process improvement Researching and executing analysis of tax law (federal, state and/or international) Supporting ongoing state and/or federal state tax audits Preparing selected tax filings while analyzing tax developments and their application to business units Working with a tax team to deliver outstanding results Minimum Qualifications : Currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program in Accounting, Finance, or other related degree.
