Motion Industrial Solutions is expanding its Swan Hill team and is seeking a high-performing Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to grow customer relationships and new business across north-western Victoria. This is a technical sales role with a strong focus on delivering value to customers across heavy manufacturing, petrochemical, agriculture and power generation markets. Ideally, you will be based in Swan Hill. About the Role : As the face of Motion for your customers, you will: Build trusted relationships with Engineering Managers, Reliability Engineers and Procurement Specialists Develop and deliver account plans that support customer retention and growth Increase share of wallet through cross-selling and up-selling across Motion’s product and service offering Identify and secure new business opportunities across western Victoria Deliver technical solutions to address customers’ operational requirements Achieve territory sales and budget targets Work closely with your Manager Customer Relationships, Branch Managers and internal teams Learn from an experienced colleague with 45 years of company and industry experience This role involves regular customer visits and travel. You must be willing to travel, including potential overnight stays of one to two days—or more—per month.
What we are looking for
Proven experience in account management, business development or technical sales Strong mathematical aptitude and technical interest or capability Confidence engaging with technical and operational customer stakeholders A customer-focused approach, strong communication skills and commercial acumen A current driver’s license and willingness to travel Highly Advantageous Experience with bearings and/or power transmission products Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings Experience selling into heavy manufacturing, petrochemical, agriculture or power generation industries What We Offer: We offer more than just a job — we offer a long-term career.
