The India CCB Loan Product Manager will be focused on the India CCB loan product and capital management. This role is accountable for the development of a well-defined loan product offering in India, the establishment of a strong risk and controls environment, and the delivery of sustainable business and loan portfolio growth. A key focus for this role is India CCB’s loan policies and business controls for adherence to key RBI regulations, notably in relation to Priority Sector Lending (‘PSL’), Micro and Small Medium Enterprise (‘ MSME’) Lending and the Current Account Circular. This VP will report into the Asia CCB Loan Product and Capital Management Head and will be based in Mumbai, India. Responsibilities
Support sustainable loan growth across the India CCB target market through oversight of Citi’s loan product offering, its delivery channel, governance and risk and controls Direction and ownership of the Lower Left targets and Client Financials methodology changes, providing thorough oversight and analysis of key trends in conjunction with the Asia CCB LPM team and Finance Partner with CLM, IBC, Finance, Tech and Loan Operations to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve efficiency, control and the client experience across the E2E lending platform, TATs and regulatory reporting Ownership of lending policy and processes, ensuring bank-level policy documents and growth targets related to PSL, MSME and Loans are aligned to latest regulations, with appropriate checks and balances to ensure ongoing adherence Support the team’s regulatory reporting efforts, ensuring completeness and accuracy, with specific reference to the semi-annual current Account Remediation exercise Collaborate with Finance and Treasury to optimize treasury management for the loan portfolio Ownership of spreads monitoring and loan pricing governance in conjunction with other India LPM team members, to optimize returns and prevent revenue leakage on account of errors and system constraints Prepare and present portfolio analysis for senior management with recommendations on loan growth and returns initiatives Knowledge/Experience: 6+ years of experience in banking, product/loan management experience or related activities Experience working with cross-functional teams to define and achieve high value business goals, demonstrating strong inter-personal and presentation skills Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and
