In this role you will: Lead various Program C&DM efforts to include technical direction, planning, and staffing Manage C&DM resources for the programs, and provide programmatic and proposal support Provide guidance to a C&DM team to include full Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development through system operations and integration Provide oversight and support to critical program area C&DM skill development Perform staffing and performance responsibilities, in coordination with HR and established processes Utilize your background and functional leadership experience to help deliver on various programs Execute Configuration and Data Management tasking including but not limited to CDRL deliveries, engineering review/audit/release, leading change management activities, and configuration audit and acceptance efforts. The information below includes the standard job description for this position Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT. Basic Qualifications Technical, engineering, business or related bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of hands‑on experience with configuration management or data-management activities in an engineering environment Direct experience with at least two of the following CM disciplines: ‑ Engineering Release ‑ Product Identification ‑ Change Control ‑ Status Accounting ‑ As‑Designed/As‑Built tracking ‑ Verification / Audit Proven use of PTC Windchill or another enterprise Product Data Management (PDM) system (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter). Demonstrated ability to create, maintain, and control a technical baseline in a PDM tool. Experience leading or supervising a small team (2‑6 members) or acting as functional lead on CM activities. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Thus U.S. citizenship
