Energy Advisory Analyst – JLL What this job involves: JLL's Energy Advisory team is seeking an Energy Advisory Analyst to serve in a dynamic and multi-faceted role supporting Project Delivery team activities while playing a key role in project origination and proposal development. This position offers a unique opportunity to support the full project lifecycle with a focus on delivery of clean energy and infrastructure solutions. You will work in close coordination with senior project managers, providing technical and analytical support that directly contributes to JLL's mission of delivering transformative real estate and energy solutions for our clients. What your day-to-day will look like: Project Delivery & Execution Support project delivery activities including internal execution, timeline adherence, and stakeholder coordination in close partnership with senior project managers Develop pricing tools and pro-forma financial and project-level models to evaluate asset valuations, support feasibility assessments, and inform commercial contracting decisions Produce planning and strategy documents, technical and financial feasibility analyses, PowerPoint presentations, and technical memoranda Serve as client point of contact, present initiatives, and maintain ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle Origination & Business Development Conduct energy market and real estate industry analysis in collaboration with JLL research and origination teams to identify opportunities and support business development Support project pricing analysis and commercial/risk reviews as needed for proposals and sales enablement Carry out research tasks supporting client deliverables, including market and industry assessments Cross-Functional Responsibilities Ensure seamless transition from origination to execution phase Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members Demonstrate innovative thinking and proactive problem-solving across both origination and delivery functions Contribute thought leadership and bring new ideas and solutions to clients Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Environmental Studies, Business, or related technical field 3-5 years of professional experience in energy or infrastructure project finance and development, with exposure to both project execution and business development Preferred Qualifications: Experience in consulting or client-facing roles within the energy sector Understanding of clean energy technologies including renewable energy, distributed energy resources, EV charging infrastructure, and/or microgrids Familiarity with commercial real estate energy solutions Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CEM, LEED) Track record of contributing to successful project deliverables and execution Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously, on time and within budget Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience developing client-facing materials and presenting to stakeholders Excellent problem-solving skills with capability to conduct market analysis and financial feasibility assessments Location: Chicago, NYC, or Washington DC (Hybrid, M-F 8-5) Salary/Comp: Estimated salary: $90,000 - $125,000 At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
