This position is a key member of Bangkok plant procurement team, responsible to establish, develop & deploy the supply strategy on those assigned categories in Bangkok plant, (Categories may include but not limited to, Electrical motors, Airflow , Castings & Ferrous packaging, Controllers, Foam & Fiberglass Insulation & Gaskets, Filtration, Pulleys & Tensioners and new product development, Heat Exchangers, Coppers, Valve, Steel etc. The ongoing supply management also aims to provide continues improvement with the YOY DM productivity, Cash flow; New Product Development (NPD) supplier selection as well as secure the DM supply continuity in supporting factory operating smoothly. RESPONSIBILITY -Strategic Sourcing/Supply Base Development utilizing 7 Steps process – Supplier identification, evaluation, selection, performance management, supply base right-sizing, executive supplier interface management of single/sole source relationships. -Contractual Development and Negotiation – Proven ability to execute the entire negotiation process for programs with high COGS. Set high standards and expectations. Effectively leverages all resources (time, information, buyer/seller position, communication/ memorandum drafting skill) to achieve outstanding results. Ability to maintain strong relationships and exert influence when needed. -Job Description – Asia Pacific Talent Acquisition 2 of 3 -Program Management – Project leader for key cost reduction programs. Programs could include source changes, VAVE initiatives; Supplier relocations/process changes, etc. -Direct Material Reporting – Proficient utilize Global procurement tools, eg.
