The Nationwide Financial Marketing Integration Audience Specialist converts approved marketing requirements into accurate, reusable, activation-ready audiences. The role provides hands-on support across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data 360, and related activation platforms, with a focus on quality, speed to market, data stewardship, and clear handoffs.   The specialist is on the Audience team and works closely with our Activation Team, Experience Leads, and some Marketing Operations partners.

What you'll do

Build, test, validate , and activate audiences for email, web, paid media, direct mail, and other channels. Translate approved requirements into segmentation logic, inclusion/exclusion rules, eligibility criteria, and activation specifications. Perform pre-activation audience QA, including count validation, data checks, firm restrictions, consent, channel eligibility, and destination readiness; investigate and document discrepancies. Support Activation build team with journey QA for respective audiences. Manage assigned work through intake and workflow processes, including priorities, dependencies, estimates, and delivery commitments. Document reusable audience definitions, taxonomy, naming standards, QA checklists, and operating procedures to improve consistency and reduce duplicate work. Identify and escalate data-quality, privacy, compliance, platform, and operational risks; contribute to requirement s training and knowledge sharing.   FINRA Series 6 is required within 120 days of hire. This hybrid position is based in Columbus, OH. Candidates located near a Nationwide campus will collaborate in office 3 days per week. Current Nationwide Remote Associates may also be considered.

As a Specialist, you'll develop and support marketing information capabilities and insights for production or internal business partners. This can include responsibility for business and data analytics projects, including development and maintenance of intermediate statistical models and related analyzes. This can also include developing the business understanding vital for analytics projects, obtaining and leading related data, performing analyses, interpreting results, outlining requirements for analytical solutions as needed, providing insights to internal clients and helping implement insights to marketing decisions. You also may work on projects through one or more of the delivery cycles from initiation, solution scoping, design, development, and analytic execution through implementation. You'll help document business rules, business cases, requirements, information requirements, analytic requirements and implementation strategy for changes and improvements to customer information and decision making both in an analytical and operational environment.
