Standard Job Description 
 You will be the Aeronautical Engineer for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) which is responsible for advanced fighter aircraft durability and structural integrity.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Aeronautical Engineer you will be responsible for applying Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT) analysis to support force management, field, depot, and ground testing needs. Your responsibilities will include: Perform crack initiation and crack growth analyses to size designs, update DADT models, support Material Review Boards, and provide field disposition guidance. Develop force‑management source data to monitor airframe health and ensure safe operation. Create and implement Force Structural Maintenance Plans (FSMPs) and Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) procedures. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate analysis results into actionable maintenance recommendations. You are a rigorous, analytical engineer with a deep understanding of fracture mechanics and durability analysis. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicating complex technical findings clearly to diverse stakeholders. Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Basic Qualifications 
 - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering preferred; Civil Engineers will also be considered. - Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. - Prior experience in a related industry. Desired Skills 
 - Demonstrated experience and knowledge in airframe drawings, structural load paths, aircraft structural behavior, fracture mechanics methods, and aircraft maintenance requirements. - Strong communication skills. - Understanding of Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs under MIL-STD-1530. - Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively. - Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
