Join EY and shape your future with confidence. About the opportunity EY is looking for a hands-on Data Vault Modeller to support the design and implementation of modern enterprise data platforms. The successful candidate will work alongside data architects, engineers, and business analysts to build scalable Data Vault 2.0 models supporting regulatory reporting, analytics, and AI use cases. This role is ideal for practitioners who enjoy translating complex business requirements into robust and auditable data models. Your key responsibilities
Develop Data Vault 2.0 structures including: Hubs / Links / Satellites Assist in creation of: Business Vault assets / PIT tables / Bridge tables / Dimensional models Analyse source systems and identify business keys, relationships, and historical tracking requirements. Produce source-to-target mapping documentation. Support logical and physical data model development. Work with data engineers to implement Data Vault models on cloud-based data platforms. Contribute to metadata, lineage, and audit design activities. Participate in data profiling and data quality assessments. Support business analysts and architects in requirements analysis workshops. Prepare design documentation, modelling standards, and implementation artefacts.
Required Qualification
3-6 years of experience in data modelling, data warehousing, or data engineering. Practical experience with Data Vault 2.0 methodologies. Understanding of: Hub design / Link modelling / Satellite historization / Surrogate and hash key generation Experience creating source-to-target mappings. Familiarity with SQL and large-scale relational data models. Understanding of dimensional modelling concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualification
Data Vault 2.0 certification. Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Platform, or similar cloud technologies. Banking or financial services experience. Exposure to regulatory reporting, risk, finance, treasury, or customer data domains. Knowledge of metadata management and data lineage concepts. Experience with modelling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, SAP PowerDesigner, Vertabelo, or similar.
