Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, After Sales, the Marketing Specialist, After Sales is responsible for execution and coordination of marketing initiatives across AutoNation's Franchise Service / After Sales business. The Specialist champions campaign execution, project coordination, reporting, and creative development. This role plays a critical role in supporting customer communications, vendor coordination, field activation, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to help drive customer acquisition, retention, customer pay repair order traffic, gross profit, service effectiveness, and a cohesive customer experience across the service lifecycle. The Marketing Specialist, After Sales reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, After Sales and works closely with internal marketing teams across Strategy & Planning, CRM, Digital, Brand, Analytics, Product, IT, Finance, and Legal, as well as field marketing, operations leadership, agencies, vendors, OEM partners, and third-party service providers. The Specialist builds productive internal and external working relationships across corporate and field organizations, operations partners, vendors, agencies, and other partners to support successful execution of Franchise Service marketing initiatives and help ensure activity is coordinated with broader After Sales strategies, customer journeys, communications touchpoints, and the overall service experience.
Job Responsibilities
Support the development and champion execution of marketing initiatives for AutoNation's Franchise Service / After Sales business, aligning activity to customer acquisition, retention, customer pay repair order traffic, gross profit, service effectiveness, and marketing efficiency goals. Lead day-to-day execution of integrated marketing campaigns across CRM, email, direct mail, paid media, AI-enabled customer engagement, web, social media, outbound programs, promotional programs, and local market activations. Coordinate campaign activity with the Senior Marketing Manager, After Sales to support offer strategy, customer lifecycle programs, segmentation, testing, personalization, field execution, and enterprise priorities across 250+ stores. Coordinate campaign planning, messaging, creative reviews, targeting, deployment, and post-launch quality assurance. Support service clinic, seasonal, retention, recall, declined service, inactive customer, and other customer lifecycle marketing initiatives. Prepare marketing briefs, presentations, campaign documentation, performance readouts, field communications, and executive-ready materials. Monitor campaign performance and prepare recurring reports, dashboards, ROI analyses, and business insights tied to traffic, retention, gross profit, service effectiveness, and optimization opportunities. Review campaign results, customer behavior, operational priorities, market needs, and field feedback to identify optimization opportunities and escalate recommendations. Maintain marketing calendars, project plans, budgets, invoices, vendor documentation, and related executional processes. Coordinate with corporate teams and external partners to ensure timely execution, including Operations, CRM, Digital, Analytics, Product, IT, Finance, Brand, Legal, OEM partners, agencies, vendors, and third-party service providers. Support customer acquisition, retention, reactivation, lifecycle, and service adoption programs across Franchise Service and coordinate with Non-Franchise After Sales marketing where needed to support a cohesive customer journey. Coordinate website content updates, promotional offers, customer communications, and service experience improvements for assigned Franchise Service channels. Develop field communications, promotional materials, operational guides, and activation support to help ensure successful execution across corporate and field teams.
