Associate-Accounts Receivable-Collections Job Title: Associate-Accounts Receivable-Collections Location: GDS India Department: Accounting & Controlling Reports To: Supervising Associate - AR The Accounts Receivable associate is a member of a high performing and mixed rank team led by the Controlling Finance Lead. This role sits within the Controlling team which helps the business create success by managing risk, mitigating fraud, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Firm policy, driving quality, consistency and efficiency across the accounts receivable processes. The opportunity: As part of a Collections team, you will manage a portfolio of client collection activity across UK, incorporating all services lines across the business. This role is key to the business cash performance with primary focus on driving timely payments and early escalation of known delays. This is a great opportunity to enhance the collection function and provide client collection support in your role, as a trusted business advisor. It is a proactive, solution driven and challenging role working alongside other finance teams. Key Responsibilities
Collecting accounts receivable balances for selected portfolio of clients, at firm level, by taking ownership of collection activity & client payment performance A key objective would be to maximise cash for the business Building external client relationships to understand client payment behaviours & methods, client approvals & internal processes Engaging with client facing teams to support collection activities Identifying collection delays early and escalating disputes Maintaining client information data to support lessons learned
Dealing with incoming internal & external customer queries Achieve set monthly team cash targets and maintain high volume of follow up calls Keeping a detailed record of collection activities

To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum one year experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills. High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Attention to detail Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments Familiarity with relevant tools, technologies, and software that are essential for the role.
