About the Position
Reporting directly to VP, IT Manager – Infrastructure Architecture The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer role is based in the Dublin office. We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage an enterprise-scale Azure environment. This role will focus on building secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions while collaborating with development, IT, various business units, and security teams. Key Relationships Reports to: VP, IT Manager – Infrastructure Architecture Key Stakeholders: IT Infrastructure Key Partners: Directory Service Group, IT Service Desk, IT Engineering, Application Support, Finance Systems, Platform Operations Key Responsibilities Architect and deploy Azure infrastructure and services. Ensure compliance with security and governance standards. Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost. Collaborate with Dev and other IT teams for CI/CD integration. Oversee Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Windows 365 configuration and environmental management Azure IAM in conjunction with Directory Services Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using PowerShell, Arm templates, Terraform, Git Actions etc. Use scripting languages and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and automate repetitive tasks. Support Dynamics365 environments. Configure virtual networks, gateways, and other networking components. Prepare technical documentation and executive reports for stakeholders.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and DevOps best practices. Proficiency in managing Microsoft Azure services, including identity, governance, storage, compute, and networking. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) for automation. Experience with security principles and tools in a cloud environment. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage and optimize cloud costs. Candidate Qualifications: Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure technologies Degree (preferred).

Multiple years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture Experience with containerization Experience of managing stakeholders across all levels and working with outsourced suppliers. Experience of creating and presenting executive summary reports. Excellent analytical and problem-solving
