Currently, we are recruiting for a self-driven and innovative individual to support the rapidly growing coverage of procurement in India and APAC. Carrying out market analysis and tenders to select suppliers for products, services, and strategic projects. Identifies specific sourcing projects throughout the year including expected savings, and associated timescales for completion. Execute local strategies to extract supply-side savings and manage demand-side consumption in order to lower the Bank’s Total Cost of Ownership for external spend as it relates to the specified category. Highlights operational, regulatory, and other risks to the Category lead and Country Head. Takes ownership for sourcing issues and actively participates in their resolution. Collaborate with the wider Global Procurement team including, Service Delivery Management and Contract managers and supplier relationship teams to review the performance of strategic partners and local vendors against service, price, quality and innovation dimensions. Your skills and experience Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) 5 to 7 yrs relevant experience in procurement, including managing complex sourcing projects across multiple categories. Experience in complex commercial and contractual negotiations Strong interpersonal skills, able to work in virtual, global teams in a dual reporting matrix organization. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and verbal). Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
