BE PART OF THE CONNECTION As a PEG Coordinator , you are responsible for maintaining and running the automation tools and equipment needed for encoding and sustaining regular cablecast programs. The ideal applicant for this position should be familiar with encoding digital video footage and have expertise controlling video/audio and automation systems equipment. You are an essential part of a collaborative team that produces compelling, timely, and accurate newscasts intended to engage and connect with our local audience. TO SPECTRUM NEWS Required Qualifications Experience: Video Production and Master Control Operations – 2+ years Education: Associates degree in Telecommunications, Electronics or related field or comparable television, cable television work experience Technical skills: Knowledge of the computer automation systems used in PEG facilities required , knowledge of studio-based production and postproduction , basic understanding of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operation of television broadcasting systems, Skills: Effective communication skills and ability to work well under pressure and time deadlines.
