This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining modern cloud-native applications while ensuring compliance with U.S. Nuclear Part 810 regulations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on full-stack developer with strong cloud engineering experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. 5–7+ years of hands-on software development experience building enterprise-grade applications. 2+ years of experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS (GCP experience is also valued). Cloud Certification is a plus Experience working within Agile software development teams. Experience building AI-enabled applications or integrating Generative AI capabilities into enterprise software. Familiarity with API Gateway technologies and service mesh architecture. Experience working in regulated industries (Energy, Utilities, Nuclear, Healthcare, Financial Services).

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using modern development frameworks and best practices. Build secure, reliable, and high-performance backend services using Node.js, NestJS, Python, and TypeScript. Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular. Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity. Develop and deploy applications on AWS using serverless and container-based architectures. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment processes. Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks using Confluence. Ensure applications adhere to cybersecurity, compliance, and software quality standards required for regulated environments. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, code reviews, and engineering best practices. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools, where appropriate.
