Network Administrator - Night Shift

We are currently seeking a Network Administrator 3rd shift (10PM to 6AM) to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population. Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure network availability for user access and services. Proactively identify risks and issues in the network and complete actions to mitigate them. Able to plan, coordinate and implement network maintenance, installation, and security to protect and improve network infrastructure. Receive and review user requests to establish or resolve issues with user access to services. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or vendors Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software Basic Qualifications: Currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce. BS in computer science or IT and 4+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree Comfortable working 24×7 shifts , including nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability Experience in configuring switches and routers. Experience working with Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) Ability to change and configure 802.1x Prior experience troubleshooting S2S/IPSEC tunnels connection. Experience conducting VLAN configurations Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred AWS Cloud service experience Experience with Palo Alto devices If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
