Job Summary The Information Systems, Lead supports and coordinates the day-to-day operations of IT systems and services while providing advanced technical expertise and leadership to IT team members. This role leads small projects or initiatives, assists in issue resolution, and ensures IT processes and solutions align with organizational objectives. The IS Lead serves as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, contributing to system reliability, user satisfaction, and process improvement. Essential Functions Leads and supports IT staff in daily operations, providing guidance, training, and subject matter expertise. Serves as a technical resource for troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring timely resolution of service requests and incidents. Coordinates small to medium-sized IT projects or tasks within larger initiatives, monitoring timelines and deliverables. Maintains a secure and highly available technical environment by supporting system updates, monitoring tools, and documentation. Collaborates with business users, vendors, and IT leadership to identify technology needs and ensure alignment with enterprise goals. Participates in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Contributes to workflow optimization by identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions. Escalates critical issues and risks to management and supports root cause analysis and resolution activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications H.S. Diploma or GED required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred 3-6 years of experience in IT systems administration, technical support, or operations required 1-2 years of experience in a team lead, senior analyst, or similar role preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong technical proficiency in IT systems, applications, or infrastructure (depending on focus area). Ability to coach and mentor team members while managing competing priorities. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with project coordination, system documentation, and user training. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical users. Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards. Proficiency in relevant IT tools and platforms.
