The Job: As a Senior Financial Analyst, CGO FP&A, you’ll be part of our Brand & Product Finance team working as an hybrid employee. You’ll get to: Provides related financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for the Brand & Product business units (CGO = Chief Growth Officer) for the Tools & Outdoor organization, reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, CGO FP&A. Analyzes data and drivers behind the results while articulating succinct summaries of performance including full P&L, Sales & SGM, comprehensive category and brand reporting. Drive toward standardized reporting to facilitate speed in decision and action; Drive process improvements that impact business results (forecasting, operating plan, quarterly reviews). Provides concise information & key management indicators to the team. Partner with brand teams across the globe to coordinate new product launches, commercial execution, investment strategies & market trends implications to build New Product Development forecasts for the Tools & Outdoor organization. Strong cross functional collaboration to ensure alignment and execution of NPD results. Support executive presentations such as budget reviews, quarterly reviews, strategic planning, and others. Ad hoc support for Brand Finance Leaders. The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You’re not intimidated by innovation. You also have: BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics with strong analytical skills, or 2+ years of finance or business-related experience. Proven problem-solving skills, solid oral and written communicator, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work across all functions, generate solutions/recommendations to issues before topic is presented to management, and excellent computer skills. Self driven analyst, with strong attention to detail to consume many data points and develop a cohesive executive reporting. Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of Hyperion HFM and SAP or their equivalent. Power BI and/or Alteryx experience a plus. Experience with process improvements and optimization a plus.
