METRICS Design to Requirements, Design to meet on-time Delivery, Design to Cost, Design to Manufacture JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To develop automotive electrical motor product projects, in charge of design concept creation, motor specification evaluation, feasibility study and related design validation test arrangement. In charge of motor and related components drawing creation and assessment, DFMEA, DVP&R, Tolerance Stack ups and other and other Project documents review, creation, and release. Communicate with customers, suppliers, project management and other related functional teams to develop motor projects. Work with cross functional core teams to solve technical issues until product safe launch. Follow the product development procedure for developing projects, design for excellence including quality, manufacturing, assembly and cost. Comply with company regulations and manager's working assignments, willing to work overtime under high pressure when urgent project issues take place. Possible early or late calls with global teams. Knowledge of seating and closure Actuators an asset Familiar with at least one software (CATIA, UG, etc..) for 3D engineering drawing creation. Presentation and communication skills, problem solving skills. Engineering calculation and analysis Compliance to all audit deliverables
EXPERIENCE
5 years (or more) experience in PMDC brush motor structure design or electromagnetic design are advantages. BS Degree in relative field Experience with BLDC motor structure design Good knowledge of automotive industry procedures (APQP,FMEA,SPC,DVPR) . Good knowledge in systematic motor/actuator NVH issue resolution along with EMC and EMC filter. Fluent in English plus a good understanding of Mandarin would be an asset
Compensation and Benefits Salary ranges from $77,000 to $80,000 based on experience.
