 Job Description Position Summary Supports the Supplier Quality Management Program for the business. Responsible for creating MRB documentation, issuing and tracking Supplier Corrective Actions, and performing Incoming Inspection activities. Ensures compliance with BD Quality Systems, policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and uphold BD Values.
Duties & Responsibilities
Communicate and collaborate with suppliers regarding quality-related issues. Perform incoming inspections of raw materials used in manufacturing. Support internal audits and external ISO/FDA audits. Issue, track, and follow up on supplier quality issues, notifications, and alerts. Partner with Purchasing on supplier-related quality activities. Investigate and follow up on suspected defective materials reported by Production. Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
No prior experience required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and procedures. Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards. Ability to analyze and investigate suspected defective materials. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to create reports and MRB documentation. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization. Self-driven with the ability to learn quickly and work independently. Previous inspection or quality-related experience is preferred. Why Join Us?
