Job Summary
As a Vice President within the Fund Services Pre-NAV Data Analytics and Business Management team, you will lead initiatives and deliver outcomes across the Fund Services organization. You will drive the team’s Data Strategy objectives with a strong focus on execution, stakeholder management, and disciplined delivery. You will ensure analytics and reporting are delivered with strong controls, clear communication, and measurable impact, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic priorities.
Job Responsibilities
Generate operational insights by analyzing process and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Build and maintain reliable ETL workflows to support data ingestion, integration, and transformation across multiple sources. Develop, enhance, and manage dashboards and recurring reporting using Tableau and other BI tools, tailored to business and operations audiences. Use SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, validate, and analyze operational datasets to support analytics use cases. Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders, enabling timely and informed decision-making. Partner with operations, product, and technology teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable analytics solutions. Define requirements and drive delivery through partners where needed (e.g., technology/engineering), ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, controls, and quality. Embed appropriate controls and documentation into analytics and reporting processes to support operational excellence and data integrity. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 6+ years of experience in data analytics, with a track record of generating actionable business insights within financial services and/or operations environments. Hands-on experience building and supporting ETL workflows and tools (e.g., Alteryx). Advanced proficiency in Tableau and strong understanding of BI/reporting best practices (KPI design, usability, data quality checks). Strong SQL and Python skills for data extraction, analysis, automation, and reporting. Demonstrated success working in cross-functional, matrixed environments and delivering outcomes through influence. Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex analyses clearly and concisely to senior audiences. Proven ability to translate analysis into operational improvements and measurable outcomes. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Familiarity with securities services operations and pre-NAV workflows/processes.
