About this role

Rubrik's Director, CXO Intelligence is analyst-in-chief and moderator of Rubrik Think!, the Transformation team's soon-to-launch CXO-facing news desk and thought leadership channel.

The person in this role synthesizes real-time signals from across the Transformation team including Rubrik Zero Labs threat and AI intelligence, Value Economics signals, cyber and AI resilience risk and readiness research and metrics, and customer voices, into one coherent intelligence product built for CXOs. They transform hard-hitting empirical signals from across TX functions into trends, newscasting, and multi-modal research content.

Rubrik Think! is built as an owned platform: Rubrik holds the intellectual ownership and the narrative, and this role is the interface through which that intelligence supports GTM acquisition, investor relations, analyst relations, and communications across the Transformation team.

Responsibilities

Rubrik Think!: Analyst-in-Chief and Editorial Direction

• Serve as analyst-in-chief and moderator of Rubrik Think!, curating and synthesizing Rubrik Zero Labs threat and AI intelligence, Value Economics signals, cyber and AI resilience risk and readiness research and metrics, and customer voices into one CXO-facing news desk and thought leadership channel.

• Transform hard-hitting empirical signals across TX functions into trends, newscasting formats, and multi-modal research content, spanning written, video, and interactive formats.

• Own the editorial strategy, format, and cadence for Rubrik Think!, building an in-house authorship model where Rubrik holds the ideas and publishers handle amplification and interactive execution, rather than the reverse.

Cross-Functional Intelligence Synthesis

• Partner with Rubrik Zero Labs on a dedicated editorial, design, and release strategy that gets its research in front of the CXO audiences it deserves, including anchor pieces for major releases.

• Partner with the Value Economics team to translate value and ROI signals into published intelligence and proof points.

• Partner with CXO-in-Residence team and Customer Advocacy team to turn technical customer data and analytics into compelling, publishable customer stories and profiles

• Lead priority-track and flagship research, starting with risk assessment and value economics, building toward a definitive, citation-worthy study on the economics of resilience

• Build first-mover thought leadership on emerging regulatory and policy developments, including DORA, SEC cyber disclosure rules, and EU/UK regulation, positioning Rubrik as a voice regulators, boards, and policymakers trust ahead of the compliance wave.

GTM, IR, AR, and Comms Interface

• Serve as the interface through which Rubrik Think! and Rubrik TX intelligence output support GTM acquisition, investor relations, analyst relations, and communications for the Transformation team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an analyst, editorial lead, or research lead at a premier media, research, or financial information organization.

• Background as an investment analyst or research lead, with experience spanning multiple global financial and media hubs.

• Demonstrated ability to build and run an owned editorial or intelligence operation, rather than relying on externally commissioned research.

• Strong point of view on regulatory and policy trends, with the ability to build first-mover thought leadership platforms ahead of a compliance wave.

• Experience translating complex, technical, or empirical data into narratives that hold up with CXOs, boards, and media.
