The Product Monetization Strategy team inside MAI is responsible for defining how we create user experiences that delight users and business models that empower advertisers to meet their goals. Who We’re Looking For We are seeking an experienced and innovative Product Marketing Director to help us to lead the go-to-market strategy for our CRM, MarTech, and related seller tools portfolio, translating complex product capabilities into clear value propositions and user journeys, and driving cross-functional alignment across Product, UX, Sales, Enablement, and Operations to improve seller and marketer productivity and accelerate revenue growth. This role has solid collaboration with Product Managers and Marketing partners, leading thoughtful go-to-mark strategies, defining appealing product positioning and influencing customer-centric roadmaps. We are looking for a product marketer with a proven record of successful partnerships with Engineering and PM teams. We seek someone with experience applying different customer listening approaches to influence product decisions. Finally, the ideal candidate must have the ability to define compelling and differentiated product positioning, serving as a beacon for our product value proposition inside the organization. Responsibilities
Customer Listening and Market Signals Seek market intelligence signals and lead customer listening strategies and execution to identify growth opportunities, investment priorities and inform product roadmap. Determine areas of market research and create deep collaboration with the field to connect with clients and understand their needs. Understand competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, Microsoft’s competitive positioning, and anticipate the business implications. Provide subject matter expertise when developing insights from market or user research, competitive analyses, and industry trends. Synthesize and articulate customer feedback, mobilizing internal teams to address it. Product Positioning, Value Proposition and Messaging Lead the creation of a differentiated value proposition that aligns with customer goals. Drive the development of product positioning, value proposition pillars with tangible proof points and crisp messaging, aligned across stakeholders. Support partner teams in the client facing communication and enablement. Clearly articulate our product story in blog posts and tentpole event presentations for marquee product launches. Go-to-Market Lead v-teams and direct marketing strategies for effective product releases, maximizing adoption and customer satisfaction. Set clear goals and impact metrics, orchestrating cross-functional teams to leverage the appropriate marketing and sales channels to achieve them.
