Our Supply Chain team ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Finance and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan and ensure we get products to the right customer, at the place, at the right time. The Manager position is at our Animal Health Distribution facility in Omaha, Nebraska. This facility is the sole distribution site of our Company's Animal Health products, shipping through out to the United States and thirty (30) countries around the world.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage and motivate a team of ten to twelve (10-12) warehouse/distribution employees Administer all Human Resource (HR) programs; i.e. reviews, discipline, etc. Oversee the training of job duties, safety procedures and maintain team morale Implement and maintain procedures designed to control accurate physical inventories and the proper storage and handling of materials Coordinate team efforts to receive, store, and ship all materials using the SAP ATLAS operating system Monitor and enforce quality and productivity standards Lead and institute data-based process improvements Develop customer relationships and visit customer sites Work closely with other company teams and foster relationships with the sales force and external customers Work closely with the leadership team on business strategy, cost containment and project management Ability to manage Less Than Truckload/Full Truckload (LTL/FTL), and small package shipping Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and SAP Atlas systems Education Requirement: High School diploma or equivalent required Associates degree or higher preferred Required Experience & Skills: Six (6)+ years of experience in warehouse logistics Two (2)+ years of demonstrated leadership experience Familiarity with Transportation Management System (TMS) systems Familiar with SAP/WMS (Blue Yonder preferred) Experience with international shipping procedures Project management and process improvement skills Self-starter able to work in teams or independently while meeting deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective and positive interpersonal, coaching, and listening skills Strong presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings #MSJR Required Skills: Active Listening, Active Listening, Budget Management, Coaching, Customer Relationships, Driving Continuous Improvement, Executive Presence, Financial Forecasting, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Group Presentations, Inventory Control Management, Inventory Management, Inventory Monitoring, Meeting Facilitation, People Leadership, People Management, Presentation Delivery, Process Improvements, Procurement, Product Delivery, Product Distribution, Production Planning, Product Ordering, Relationship Management, Setting Performance Standards {+ 8 more} Preferred Skills: Current Employees apply HERE Current Contingent Workers apply HERE US and Puerto Rico Residents Only: Our company is committed to inclusion, ensuring that candidates can engage in a hiring process that exhibits their true capabilities.
