Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Pulmonary/ Sleep Clinic Physician to join our established practice in Espanola, New Mexico located near Santa Fe, NM. Practice Highlights Outpatient pulmonary medicine managing various disease states Single location, no hospital call responsibility 36 hours of patient care and 4 hours admin time Manages patient panel and cross covers for team as necessary Pulmonary Function Test Lab on site; managed by pulmonary practice Sleep Lab onsite; managed by pulmonary practice Telemedicine options available (Doximity and Tyto care options) Medical Assistant/Registered Nurse Support Systemwide EPIC EMR Responsibilities: *Delivers clinical care to patients in the PMG Pulmonary clinic *Delivers inpatient Pulmonary and Critical Care depending on inpatient pointage *Inpatient duties defined by Critical Care director *Participates in Triage schedule *Shares responsibility for PFT interpretation *Shares responsibility for virtual Lung Nodule consultations *Attendance of monthly department meetings when not working inpatient or on vacation *Support mechanisms to gather and report quality measures *Receives and resolves patient, staff and provider complaints. *Participates in quality improvement plans *Participates in the recruitment and retention of physicians and staff who work in the practice *Performs other functions as required Additional Job Description: M.D./D.O. in clinical practice. Current New Mexico License required. Board certified in Pulmonary Medicine. Critical Care certification may be required if working inpatient. Ability to determine care plans for patients and execute them. Ability to teach and be a resource for nursing staff and respiratory therapy. Sits, stands, walks 8-12 hours a day. Assumes and maintains various postural positions from ground to overhead. We offer more than the standard benefits!
