Leads the implementation and execution of BIM and VDC processes across assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards. Oversees modeling, coordination, and collaboration efforts to enhance project efficiency, constructability, and overall delivery. What You'll Do BIM Implementation
Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of BIM processes and methodologies on projects Establish and manage BIM execution plans to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
Modeling & Coordination
Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models representing physical and functional project components Conduct clash detection and coordination to identify and resolve design conflicts during preconstruction phases Minimize rework by ensuring accurate and coordinated design integration
Collaboration & Communication
Facilitate coordination and communication among project stakeholders using digital collaboration platforms Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to ensure seamless information exchange
VDC Process Optimization
Apply VDC methodologies to improve planning, scheduling, and cost estimation Implement and refine simulation techniques to optimize construction sequencing and logistics
Training & Support
Provide guidance and training to project teams on BIM and VDC best practices Remain current on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending process improvements as appropriate
Additional duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle phases Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills Analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail Familiarity with BIM automation tools or scripting (e.g., Dynamo preferred) Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms Working knowledge of Total Station tools for field layout
