The Role
Your role As an External Relations Specialist, you will focus on building and maintaining Kyndryl’s visibility, credibility, and consistency across key external audiences. Your role will contribute to how Kyndryl is represented to analysts, media, partners, and broader industry stakeholders by shaping messages, coordinating outreach activities, and ensuring accurate, timely external communications. The work balances planning with hands‑on execution and is completed through close collaboration with marketing, communications, legal, and business stakeholders.
What you will do
Develop and manage external communications materials such as briefings, talking points, background documents, and updates aligned to approved messaging Coordinate engagement with external stakeholders including industry analysts, partners, and media outlets based on defined outreach plans Support the preparation and execution of analyst briefings, industry events, and external announcements Track external engagement activity, maintain documentation, and report on outcomes using defined metrics Partner with internal teams to gather inputs, validate facts, and ensure consistency across external-facing content Monitor external coverage and industry commentary to surface insights and potential risks Ensure all external communications follow brand, compliance, and governance requirements Kyndryl currently does not require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, however, if you are hired to work at a client, customer, or partner location, you may be required to show proof of vaccination to align with their respective COVID-19 vaccination policies. Who You Are
Required skills and experience Experience supporting external relations, communications, analyst relations, public relations, or marketing functions Ability to translate complex business or technology topics into clear, audience‑appropriate external messaging Experience coordinating deliverables across multiple stakeholders with defined timelines Strong written editing skills applied to externally published or shared content Experience tracking activities, maintaining documentation, and reporting results against agreed measures Familiarity with brand governance, approvals, or compliance processes for external communications Preferred skills and experience Experience working with industry analysts, media, or external partners Background in technology, IT services, or B2B environments Experience supporting events, briefings, or thought leadership programs Familiarity with external communications measurement or monitoring tools Pay and Benefits The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $79,920 to $152,160 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: California (San Francisco Bay Area): $110,400 to $209,880 California (All Other): $101,280 to $192,360 Colorado:
