 Summary: As the Senior Cardiovascular Lab Lead, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and advancing clinical excellence during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Serving as a trusted clinical resource and mentor, you will guide technical and patient care activities while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment. In partnership with the Department Manager and Director, you will help shape the success of the Cardiovascular Lab by supporting operational performance, staff development, resource management, and quality initiatives.  Responsibilities: Provide clinical and operational leadership within the Cardiovascular Lab, serving as a senior resource for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures across multiple specialty service lines. Function as a clinical expert in circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring roles while supporting safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Lead daily workflow activities, ensure accurate documentation, charge capture, medication reconciliation, and procedural reporting. Mentor, train, and support staff development, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Oversee assigned programs and specialty areas, supporting program growth, implementation of new technologies, and adoption of best practices. Monitor quality indicators, lead process improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, safety, and infection prevention standards. Assist with department operations, including scheduling, inventory management, equipment readiness, budgeting, and resource utilization. Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and service excellence. Serve as a resource during emergent situations and support ongoing professional education and clinical advancement.

Qualifications

Education Associate degree from an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology, Cardiopulmonary Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Paramedic program required. Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology certificate program may be accepted if the program length is a minimum of one (1) year. Three (3) additional years of directly related cardiovascular experience may be substituted in lieu of the required degree.

Experience

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an adult Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedural documentation/recording. Licensure & Certifications RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six (6) months of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support
