What You Will Do
The Manufacturing Engineering organization is seeking a motivated Sr. Test & Validation Engineer to support the Forest Raytheon Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC). As a Sr. Test & Validation Engineer, you’ll work within production operations and the manufacturing discipline and will partner with a multi-disciplined team of engineers to develop and evaluate test processes, special test equipment, data analysis tools and test requirements for Antenna and Radar Products. Your responsibilities may also include: Developing and maintaining Test Procedures Working with power electronics and systems (circuits and test equipment) Analyzing test data and / or determining if hardware meets specification Maintaining related STE (Special Test Equipment) and specifying replacement equipment when required (obsolescence) Transforming complex information and data into clear, concise and visually engaging slides Improving yields through root cause / corrective action methods and innovation Performing hardware defect analysis and corrective action investigations Training technicians to use Test Procedures and providing written directions for troubleshooting instruction Training entry level Test Engineers on test processes Creating and overseeing improvement projects Some travel may be required (typically less than 10%) This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon’s Forest, MS facility.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience Root cause analysis and / or resolution of test failures (hardware and test environment) Experience working in a manufacturing environment Qualifications We Prefer: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Computer Engineering Experience diagnosing and isolating technical issues with test equipment and production hardware Experience interpreting product specifications and requirements Experience in analog/power electronic component analysis and selection Experience with modern Automated Test Systems for electronics Experience performing analysis of technical data Experience with power electronics and power supplies What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
