Integration Engineer

Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Systems Test Engineering General Summary: The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Python development, version control systems, Linux environments, and software change management processes, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Develop, maintain, and enhance automation solutions using   Python . Manage and support software development workflows using   Git   and   GitHub . Drive and support   change check-in, code review, and integration processes   to ensure high-quality software delivery. Develop and maintain   Linux shell scripts   for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure smooth software integration and release activities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to drive timely resolution of issues and deliverables. Adapt to flexible work schedules as required to support global teams and critical project milestones. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong expertise in   Python programming   and automation development. Hands-on experience with   Git ,   GitHub , branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes. Good understanding of   software change management , code check-in workflows, and CI/CD practices. Proficiency in   Linux operating systems , shell scripting, and command-line tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Flexible working hours to support critical business and project requirements, milestones.   Added advantage If they possess these skills: Experience with   AI-driven automation   and   Agentic AI workflows . Knowledge of AI agents, workflow orchestration frameworks, and intelligent automation solutions. Exposure to DevOps practices, release management, and software integration environments. Minimum Qualifications: •    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Qualification : Bachelor of engineering. E&C preferred. Skills / Attributes Require - Should possess strong knowledge in GPON/networking/WLAN and manual testing of networking products - Must have good experience in testing ONT/OLT Products - Must have good experience in testing of layer-2 to layer 7 protocols - Posses high Debugging capability - Must be capable of analyzing new feature, creating test plans, and adding new test cases Applicants : Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
