Job Description
The Role: The Principal User Experience Researcher will play a key role in defining the future of Peacock’s product experiences. The position will lead and execute research on the Product Research and Consumer Insights team and will focus on key timely and critical bodies of work — answering questions like: how should subscriber experiences differ across devices, how might subscribers want to manage streaming service subscriptions in the future, and how to build fandom-centered streaming product experiences. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of User Research and Consumer Insights, they will collaborate with cross functional partners across Commerce and Viewing Product, Design, Analytics, and Product Marketing, and will lead research that informs product decisions across the product lifecycle, as well as the work that gives shape to new initiatives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Consulting and advising cross functional partners on their research questions and selecting the right methods and tools to answer them Owning and driving your research roadmap, ensuring stakeholder and product needs are met and well aligned to achieve organizational goals Conducting research across the product lifecycle via unmoderated prototype tests, lab studies, online interviews, observational tests, surveys, benchmark studies, diary studies, and more Managing complex schedules across multiple projects at one time to ensure on time delivery Setting new standards for methodological rigor and research excellence Crafting memos and reports that make complex ideas simple, surface timely insights, clearly communicate key learnings, and drive strategic and actionable recommendations Influencing strategic and tactical product roadmaps with cross-functional leadership Mentoring and coaching other researchers Leveraging AI-enabled tools to streamline and scale repeatable workflows Vendor selection and management with external research agencies, ensuring high-quality deliverables and optimal resource allocation Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies Qualifications Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in consumer product research or consumer insights Expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies (e.g., in-depth interviews, surveys, prototype tests, card
