The Land Warfare and Air Defense (LW&AD) team is seeking a highly motivated finance professional (P3) to join the MRAD Product Area as a Eurobundle Financial analyst. The flagship product within the MRAD portfolio is the Sentinel system that in built in partnership with Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace (KDA). The successful candidate will collaborate with key leaders within the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain and IPT Leads providing the team with financial management, insight and solutions to better drive the program needs. In the role, the selected individual will support the management of cost control, EVMS compliance, financial forecasting, and overall financial execution of the program. The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of tasks and work with all levels of the organization. This position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management as well as execute hands on with the finance team. This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and based on the needs of the business. Onsite work can be done at the Fullerton, CA location. Relocation assistance is not being offered.
What You Will Do
Implementation and Maintenance of Earned Value Management Provide monthly variance and data analysis Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development Establish and maintain program logs (MR,UB, BCRs, etc.) Provide financial guidance to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs) Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance and reporting utilizing standard company tools and processes Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field & a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience; OR and Advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience Experience with SAP or a similar cost accounting system Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint) U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements Qualifications We Prefer Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with program controls, program scheduling, cash management, and financial planning
