Commercial Insights Manager Duties: Working with cross-functional teams to analyze the competitive landscape of a particular therapeutic area, identify relevant trends based on a deep understanding of the external perspective and internal strategy, and transform competitive information into actionable insights; Working with teams to craft financial models to estimate future potential revenues using patient/volume data and translating assumptions advised through epidemiology, market research, pricing research, competitive intelligence, and secondary analytics to support brand decision making process; Working to provide first-hand customer insights (e.g., healthcare providers, patients, insurance payers, and other related partners) that advises business strategy decisions by collecting and interpreting information from quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, and innovative research methodologies; and Working to advise on market strategies, initiatives, and performance by translating the business questions into tangible data queries and interpreting the data to provide an objective perspective on secondary data analytics and performance management. Requirements
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Public Health, Chronic Disease Epidemiology, or related field & completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, thesis, or one year of experience in the following: Setting up the frameworks and views to fully support a brand through mapping and building the bridge between the strategy and execution of marketing activities by using competitive landscape assessment, SWOT Analysis, customer segmentation, and customer journey mapping; Driving analytical projects synthetizing qualitative and quantitative sources with data visualization using programs, tools, and platforms including Python, Tableau, Coginiti Pro, Databricks, Redshift, SQL, R, and Microsoft Excel; Designing primary market research including in-depth interviews, survey, and focus group; Combining market research outcomes with internal and commercial data sources to generate insights to develop situational and competitive analysis and strategic imperatives and tactics; Utilizing forecasting models to develop LRP (Long Range Plan) and budgeting in strategic planning and using advanced simulation models including Monte Carlo analysis and statistical trending to quantify uncertainty; Conducting, synthesizing, and critically appraising scientific literature in specific disease areas to identify unmet evidence needs, guide study design, and develop analytical plan; and Analyzing large scale real-world electronic health record (EHR) datasets using advanced statistical methods including retrospective cohort study, Kaplan-Meier method, causal inference techniques, and regression modeling to estimate survival outcomes, evaluate treatment patterns and conduct cost analysis.
