Job Title: Sr. Ops Analyst, Revenue Operations Sr. Ops Analyst, Revenue Operations Role Overview The Sr. Ops Analyst, Revenue Operations is a hands-on member of the Revenue Operations team responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of the sales organization. This role helps ensure Sales leaders and sellers have accurate information, effective processes, and the operational support needed to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and achieve business objectives. The analyst will work closely with Sales leadership, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and other cross-functional partners to maintain sales processes, analyze performance, improve data quality, and support key revenue operations activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in Salesforce and Excel, have a strong understanding of sales processes, and be able to turn data into clear recommendations and actions. This is an execution-oriented role for someone who enjoys solving business problems, working with sales teams, and improving how a sales organization operates.
Key Responsibilities
Support the weekly and monthly sales operating rhythm, including forecast preparation, pipeline reviews, performance reporting, and sales leadership meetings. Maintain accurate sales pipeline and opportunity data in Salesforce, identifying data issues and working with sellers and sales leaders to resolve them. Prepare recurring reports and analysis covering pipeline coverage, bookings, forecast performance, quota attainment, conversion rates, sales activity, and other key sales metrics. Assist Sales leadership with forecasting by analyzing pipeline movement, opportunity progression, historical performance, and current sales activity. Support territory and account assignment processes, including changes to account ownership, organizational realignments, and in-year territory updates. Assist with annual and quarterly quota planning, target setting, and related Operations activities. Monitor sales funnel performance and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities that may impact revenue performance. Support the administration and continuous improvement of Salesforce processes, including opportunity stages, required fields, data standards, and reporting requirements. Partner with Finance and Operations on sales performance reporting, bookings analysis, compensation-related reporting, and period-end activities. Help document and improve sales processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures to create consistency across the sales organization. Support sales leadership with ad hoc analysis and reporting to answer business questions and inform decisions. Participate in cross-functional projects involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and other teams to improve the overall revenue process. Identify opportunities to simplify manual processes, improve reporting efficiency, and increase the quality and timeliness of sales information. Provide responsive operational support to sales leaders and teams while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field required. 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, Business Operations, or a related commercial operations role. Experience supporting a sales organization with quota-carrying sales representatives and sales leadership. Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, including opportunities, accounts, contacts, reports, dashboards, and basic CRM administration concepts. Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets, perform analysis, and create recurring reporting. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another business intelligence platform is preferred. Understanding of core sales processes, including pipeline management, forecasting, opportunity management, territory planning, and quota attainment.
