Position
Summary As a Staff Cloud Engineer, Data Engineering for Analytics and Behavioral Change (A&BC) team, you will be working with teams building applications using billions of records of retail and healthcare data and help lead teams to deliver outcomes for your partners. You will help support three areas with colleagues as well as work on some as an individual contributor. There will be no direct reports as the team is a mix of contractors and full time colleagues. DevSecOps & Security Automation Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. Integrate security scanning (SAST, SCA, DAST, container scanning) into build and deployment workflows. Automate cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation Enforce security baselines, secrets management, and identity/access controls across cloud platforms. Monitor vulnerabilities, remediate findings, and collaborate with security teams on compliance requirements Build guardrails for secure containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS). Azure Cloud Cost Reporting & FinOps Develop and maintain cloud cost dashboards and automated reporting (Azure Cost Management, Tableau). Analyze cost trends, identify anomalies, and recommend optimization strategies . Partner with engineering teams to embed cost awareness into design and deployment decisions. Implement tagging standards and cost‑allocation models across multi‑cloud environments. Support budgeting, forecasting, and show back/chargeback processes. Provide monthly and quarterly cost insights to leadership and finance teams. Data Base (Snowflake) & Emerging AI Evaluate and Manage AI offerings in co-ordination with Cloud security, Governance groups to roll out POCs and tracking AI Token usage and associated costs Manage Snowflake accounts, warehouses, roles, and resource monitors. Optimize warehouse sizing, auto‑suspend/auto‑resume, and query performance Oversee Implementation of RBAC, data masking, and security policies within Snowflake Oversee data ingestion pipelines (Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, external stages). Monitor storage usage, compute consumption, and cost drivers within Snowflake. Support schema design, database lifecycle management, and integration with BI tools. Troubleshoot performance issues and collaborate with data engineering teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills 7+ years experience across Cloud, Strong experience with CI/CD tooling and DevSecOps practices. Proficiency with Terraform or other IaC frameworks. Hands‑on experience with Azure/GCP security and automation. Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes. Expertise in Snowflake administration, SQL, and data‑warehouse operations. Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and FinOps principles. Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security architecture Experience in API and security principles AI and Agentic frameworks Preferred Qualifications An understanding of AI and LLM framework such as Langchain, Langgraph An understanding of experiment design, CICD and Orchestration models. Familiarity with modern techniques to fine tune LLM Experience developing Python packages as an open-source developer/contributor Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent work
