Design Thinking Co-Op

The hourly rate for this position is $19.38 - $34.00 per hour.

Eaton’s Studio Blue (Human-Centered Design Center of Excellence) is currently seeking a Design Thinking intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester (end of August – mid December 2026). This position is based at our Moon Township, PA location (Pittsburgh area).

In this role, you will help fulfill our mission of empowering people to be more human-centered, collaborative, and creative by building design thinking capabilities and supporting communities of practice across the enterprise. You will provide input and support the development and deployment of design thinking education at Eaton, including training, coaching, resources, and community. You will be exposed to day-to-day business functions and can grow your knowledge of design thinking, product development, user research, and design language.

• Listen to strategy conversations and provide input to problem solving and decision making. • Support the delivery of existing training courses and help develop new training materials. • Get involved in planning workshop agendas and building facilitation materials. Participate in workshops, closely observe what's happening, and assist the facilitator. • Synthesize insights from workshops and research activities to create strategic deliverables for internal partners. • Support industrial and user experience designers in crafting and facilitating world-class design thinking exercises and workshops across multiple product development efforts with Eaton businesses around the world. • Contribute to the development of self-learning resources that can be used by design thinking facilitators and practitioners. • Participate in internal
