Activity Coordinator-Part Time Diamond Grove Center Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Winston County area for more than 30 years. Located in the Louisville area, our 85-bed facility, provides a peaceful setting for those seeking psychiatritic treatment for children and adoloscents, ages 5-17. Diamond Grove Center offers unique treatment and individualized programming for children and adolescents which sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Website: https://www.diamondgrovecenter.com The Activity Coordinator plays a major role in our patient care. The Activity Coordinator will integrate and coordinate a patient centric strategy with a focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services. The Activity Coordinator will coordinate and evaluate comprehensive activity program in conjunction with the treatment team. and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Activity Coordinator demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropiate care to the age of the patients that are being treated on his or her unit. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Assess and legibly document patient problems. Treatment objectives and intervention. Coordinate and Plan Therapeutic Outings for the patients to attend. Participates as a tema member in multi-disciplinary team conferences designed to develop and evaluate treatment plans for each patient Qualifications Requirements: Official High School Diploma A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations. Bachelor's Degree required Demonstrates leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Must be able to perform (CPR) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Crisis Prevention Intervention Training(CPI)
