About this role
The Alexa Daily Essentials (ADE) team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive delivery of home productivity experiences that millions of customers rely on every day. You'll own programs that span cloud services, device software, and AI/ML-powered features across multiple device surfaces. If you thrive on navigating technical complexity, coordinating across organizations, and shipping features that customers use billions of times a month, this role is for you. Key job responsibilities Own end-to-end delivery of cross-functional programs across cloud engineering, device software, design, QA, and product teams Drive launch readiness for device programs with tight deadlines and multiple dependencies Partner with engineering to understand system architecture, identify risks early, and make informed trade-off recommendations Manage cross-org dependencies across platform teams, partner orgs, and central infrastructure, driving commitments to closure rather than waiting on them Build and maintain launch readiness mechanisms, status reporting, and escalation paths for leadership visibility Coordinate model migrations, latency initiatives, and quality programs that require deep technical understanding of LLM-based and deterministic systems Anticipate bottlenecks, drive escalation management, and balance customer experience quality with engineering constraints and timelines Contribute to operational excellence by partnering with engineering on oncall reduction, automation, and GenAI-driven efficiency investments A day in the life You'll work across engineering managers, product managers, designers, and partner teams to ship features on devices launching to millions of customers. You'll track delivery across multiple workstreams simultaneously, dive into technical architecture when needed, flag risks before they become blockers, and keep programs moving through clear communication and relentless follow-through. You'll operate in a fast-paced environment where device launch dates don't move and quality bars are non-negotiable.
