Responsibilities The EMEAs Payroll Team as part of the Finance Department is responsible for a seamless monthly payroll process in EMEA and APAC and is responsible for general ledger entries during the monthly closing. We are looking for a Payroll Senior Associate to join our incredible team. Your Key Responsibilities Responsibilities Administer assigned global payrolls (France, Switzerland, Australia and Saudi Arabia), serving as the primary liaison with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll data. Reviews payroll calculations for accuracy and compliance, coordinate payroll processing activities, and authorizes payroll payments upon approval. Provides support for designated payroll processes related to the India payroll. Primary contact point with our external payroll service providers and our internal Human Resources department for payroll operations Management of all aspects of external payroll reporting for the assigned payrolls, including the filing of annual payroll returns, filing and payment of periodic social security, tax and benefits returns and all other declarations related to payroll reporting in these countries Handle the general ledger payroll file uploads, including the recording of the monthly payroll entries, calculation and recording of compensation accruals and assistance with the reconciliation of balance sheet payroll accounts Assistance with the preparation of documentation required for external audits of payroll expenses and accrued compensation accounts Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external departments Lead and support any adhoc payroll projects assigned to the team We require employees to work from the Budapest office two days per week to foster collaboration and maintain strong team engagement. Your skills and experience that will help you excel Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance is an advantage) Payroll qualifications and diplomas are an advantage Fluency in written and spoken English 5+ years’ professional experience, preferably within a similar payroll or payroll accounting role Experience of working within an international and multi-cultural environment Extremely strong interpersonal and communication skills High level of technical ability in MS Excel and other computer desktop applications Highly motivated and proactive individual, eager to take personal ownership for the administration of payroll operations and accounting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong team-playing attitude Detail-focused approach to ensure that all payroll is performed to the highest level of accuracy and to ensure that all control steps within the payroll process are rigorously adhered to Ability to work independently, demonstrating a logical thought process and an ability to assimilate new information and tasks quickly Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and to re-align priorities when required at short notice About MSCI What we offer you Salary Range: HUF 12,000,000-13,500,000 Transparent compensation schemes and comprehensive employee benefits, tailored to your location, ensuring your financial security, health, and overall wellbeing.
