Description Come join the Specialty Product team! We're focused on achieving profitable growth for US Retail Markets by building innovative products that meet evolving customer and agent needs, and we own the P&L for a niche but high-value part of the portfolio. This role will align to our Motorcycle, RV, Watercraft, and Classic Car products . It's a segment where customers are passionate about what they own, and where getting the product right takes curiosity and creativity. As a Specialty Product Analyst, you'll dig into performance data, oversee product changes and initiatives, and work closely with underwriting, actuarial, and regulators to innovate, influence, and collaborate across the business. This role has a high degree of influence as your analysis directly shapes how we compete and helps set the strategy for where we go next and how we win in this market.
Responsibilities
Performs high complexity analyses under minimal direction to evaluate business performance and identify trends and issues in assigned product line; makes actionable recommendations for improvements. Influences the direction of and implements adapted country-wide or state-level initiatives and conducts high level analyses to support strategic direction of assigned product line. Independently manages projects of low to moderate complexity. Presents LOB reviews, other high complexity analyses and results of countrywide initiatives to Product managers. Queries data to conduct ad hoc analysis of metrics and answer advanced business questions and builds advanced tools and queries for others to use. Serves as point person for high complexity country wide implementations. Based on strong understanding of how competitor actions impact marketplace, distribution channel and customers, conducts in depth research of competitor filings utilizing various sources. Research may be at the state, competitor or countrywide level. Through research, identifies and proposeschanges to our product offerings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field. Minimum 3 years, typically 4 years or more of relevant work experience. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Access). Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
